| This tutorial
will show you how you can make the borders that you make with the Edge
Collection actions very colorful and fancy. This tutorial has only
been tested with Photoshop 7.0. Step 1
Open the image that you want to make an edge on and press 'Ctrl' +
'-' to make sure that no palettes are overlapping the image.
Step 2
Use the eyedropper tool to select the
color that you want the border to be.
Step 3
Start the action you want to use. I am using action 7 in the Edge
Collection 1.1 package. Here is the result:
Notice that the foreground color and border color is the same.
Step 4
I wanted to change the background color to white. You can do that
now or you can set the background color in step 2. If you want to
use a texture or something on the background layer you can
follow this tutorial.
